This cacophony, our life
You kiss my hand, I bite your faith
All the while we bleed, we die.
Our dissonant smiles, lies,
You leave my life, I dream the now
Agnostic disclosures to which I vow.
Hopeless begging to wrong god
No sacrifice suffices.
Let me depart from the blinding light.
No crying, no mercy intended, delight?
In your science, no space for my ancient desire.
You let me drown in that knowledge of mine.
